We have had a new week and many great things happening. Our sweet girls are in school and learning great things. They get their weekly work done by Tuesday, so dance and playing with friends can be done with out distraction. They are so fabulous and motivated! Sydney works right along with them, drawing on her paper and doing her "homework."
I have started the 90 day transformation team and it has been transforming to me. I am excited for the great things I am learning every day to improve myself and my families lives.
Spencer is working in Riverton now. They moved his work there and he has been commmuting at 6:45am to get there and be home early. He is awesome, and I appreciate his great efforts to do this to spend time with us in the evening.
I have finished canning for the moment and will soon have a great store of melon (I don't recall their names right now) and tomatoes. The raspberries are still growing! YEAH!
My dad and his wife are coming to visit us today for a few days to see us and go to conference. That will be fun and great for them to experience the live sessions of conference.
The girls are still in dance and loving their teachers and the new moves they are learning. We find them in the dining room, with our electric piano playing all the classical fun songs to dance to. It has been a great blessing for them to have this movement and outlet to express themselves. Dance is great, but then I am biased because I love to dance.
All and all, a great week. Sydney is loving playing with our neighbors and playing outside. She misses her sisters at school and loves to say goodbye and hello when they go and come. She is growing very fast and potty trained this last month. WAHOO! We love the no diaper days.
We have truely been blessed and are continually amazed at the gifts we are given each day to grow and learn. Sending love all your way!

Transformation!
For all who know me well, I have been transforming this last year in ways I didn't think possible. I have read lots of books (the big stack always by my bed) and have really been on a quest. Well, my quest had taken me to Everlasting Fitness recently. I have had a great experience there, and it has only been a short while. I feel peaceful and assured that I am in the right place at the right time.
Many times in our lives we makes a conscious and unconscious choices how to spend our time, focus our thoughts, love our family, and serve each other. I feel like this time is bringing so many of those things to the front of my mind, using them positively and being able to finally express them in all avenues of my life. Spiritual, physical, and emotional are so connected and it's taken until NOW to figure that out consciously. My subconscious knew, but I needed to know.
I have started stating things in "I AM" form to help the person I desire to be and need to be fulfill my purpose here on earth. I am happy. I am strong. I am changing my mind and body and spirit to be the person God intended me to be. I am divine!

Gardening: my planting experiments
I have been gung ho getting my garden in and using it this year. There is something almost magical about planting a seed, watching it grow with just water and air and soil and getting this WONDERFUL food in the end. I have had such great success this year. I tried to be as organic as possible. I didn't have the same bug problems as last year and my plants just GREW! I love organic gardening. I even started a compost pile.
Here's what I've grown, and attempted this year:
raspberries (new this year and producing already- YEAH)
pumpkins (planted three times and finally coming in ok)
cucumbers (bugs got to the biggest vine, but I put them in a better place called the Landfill!)
tomatoes ( pear, cherry, yellow heirloom, roma, and big boy)
zucchini ( made great relish and mustard pickles this year)
broccoli and cauliflower ( gotta learn more about this one and how to keep it growing)
dill (worked great next to broccoli and cauliflower to keep bugs away- WORKED)
parsley (started from small plant and grew very well next to my tomatoes)
strawberries (that's were the slugs and bugs went first)
sunflowers (7-8 feet tall!)
morning glory and white decor pumpkins ( on the tee pee stand we made, did great)
some summer squash (really sweet and can't figure out what it is)
peppers (hot and green, the hot ones were really hot, great for my brother-in-law)
watermelons (had two already -YUMMY)
canteloup and some other sweet melon - very good, did really well for a compact space as long as I led the trails where I wanted them)
Blueberries ( love coconut husks and Dr. Earth fertilizer)
sweet peas- (lasted for a week and died, weather too hot)
spinach and other lettuce varieties- (butter, romaine, red leaf, and spinach did great. I couldn't eat them fast enough, will grow less and spread out the time I plant next year.)
beets and radishes (will definitely plant them again next year. Beets were tender and juicy and radishes are still too spicy for me. I like them a little milder. I will try a different variety next year.
Herbs- tried a few herbs this year and they grew like wildfire (comfrey, horehound, catnip, parsley, dill, clary sage)
All and all it's been a great year. I've put up jams, sauces, peaches, apples (oh, my apple tree did well, and it's really small), salsa, and relishes and pickles from all that zucchini. Ask me and I'll send the recipes that worked well for me this year. I used low to no sugar canning.
I have loved the garden this year. I used my regular sprinkler system and even used cornmeal on the grass for fertilizer and weed control, which reminds me I need another application for the fall. The earth is good and their is plenty to give when we tend it and care for it.

I've made the Journey to Blog and a later church meeting time
Sunday mornings have been quite a whirlwind up until now. We have changed meeting times and buildings to a beautiful new church building and a later time. I have been in such a habit to get up early, get dressed, and get the children dressed. I woke up this morning and had to tell myself to sleep in until 8am.
So, here I am dressed, my children pretty much ready to go and a few minutes to spare on Sunday. I have desired very much to share some of the fun books I'm reading, some experiments I'm trying out, and some really cool things that have helped me and my family. I've always admired all the moms who could write about their kids activities and have such cute sites, but mine will not be to that caliber, I'm afraid.
